What You'll Experience

As an extern, you'll gain exposure to all aspects of small animal general practice while participating in patient care under the guidance of our veterinarians. You'll have opportunities to:

• Observe and assist with wellness, sick, and emergency appointments
• Gain hands-on experience with diagnostics and treatment planning
• Observe and participate in a wide variety of surgical procedures
• Learn alongside experienced veterinarians who enjoy mentoring students
