Berry Animal Hospital, a privately owned practice in Ardmore, Alabama, uniquely positioned right on the Tennessee border, is offering externship opportunities for students who want real clinical exposure in a supportive, low-pressure environment.

This is more than shadowing. You will be encouraged to get involved, think through cases, and grow at your own pace alongside a team that genuinely enjoys teaching.

What Your Experience Will Look Like During your time with us, you can expect:

Exposure to a robust companion animal caseload with unique on-site large animal exposure (roughly 5%)

Hands-on surgical reps, diagnostic workups, and treatment planning based on your comfort level

Strong support from an excellent team utilizing a protective 2:1 tech-to-doctor workflow

One-on-one mentorship from experienced veterinarians who follow a strict rule to never leave you stranded
