Description
We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Associate Veterinarian to join our privately owned, locally operated small animal general practice in the Charlotte, NC metro area Town of Pineville.

Requirements
Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or equivalent) degree
- Valid North Carolina veterinary license
- DEA registration in good standing prior to employment
- Clinical proficiency in small animal medicine (primarily canine and feline), including physical exams, diagnostics, treatment planning for common conditions, surgery, and dentistry
- Strong client communication skills
- Comfort with medical recordkeeping
- Commitment to professional development, including staying current with standards of care
Work-Life Balance Matters
We understand that a sustainable career in veterinary medicine requires time both inside and outside the hospital.
Full-time schedule: 4 days per week
Doctor hours: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM, lunch 12:30 PM - 1:30 PM
Hospital hours: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM
One Saturday every other month
No evening shifts
No holiday hours
