Over the past 40 years, Hodes Veterinary Group has grown into a practice that includes 4 veterinarians and loyal pet patients from Mine Hill and the surrounding communities. We started with humble beginnings, but our love of animals and desire to provide the absolute best medical care has allowed us to remain a woman owned, private practice that maintains the old school charm of what vet hospitals were in their heyday, before corporate owned became the popular model.
Company History
Dr. Hodes opened his Mobile Veterinary Clinic back in 1980, his goal was to treat his patients with the same love and compassion as any two-legged family member would get from their doctor.
Over 40 years later, this love of animals and desire to provide the absolute best medical care has helped the Hodes Veterinary Group grow into a practice that includes 4 veterinarians and loyal pet patients from Mine Hill and the surrounding communities.
Today, Dr Hodes has retired and is living predominantly in Kansas. But he left his practice in good hands. Dr. Kris Conway, a veterinarian who has worked alongside him since 1994, is now the owner and continues to uphold the pet care tradition of Dr. Hodes — treat each pet like they’re a member of our family. Because they are.
