Our Medical Directors dedicate over 90% of their time to practicing medicine, allowing them to stay fully engaged in patient care while leading the team! CareVet is offering a guaranteed base and bonus combination of $200k in your first year at West Branch Veterinary Services, located in West Branch, Michigan. In addition to a guaranteed $200k in your first year, this position offers a production bonus plan, schedule flexibility, 401(k) match, “true” paid time off and access to our vacation plan for veterinarians.
The Medical Director is responsible for providing medical leadership for the hospital, managing associate veterinarians, and assuring regulatory compliance relating to the practice of veterinary medicine. The Medical Director is also responsible for creating an environment of teamwork in which quality medicine and exceptional client service are delivered.

Practice medicine in a state-of-the-art facility!
We are committed to practicing high quality, progressive, individualized medical care for our patients. We provide you with the tools to help your patients through industry-leading medical and diagnostic capabilities. Our hospital is open Monday – Friday (no weekends or after hours). The incoming Veterinarian will enjoy practicing medicine in our modern, well-equipped 10,000 sq/ft facility. We also enjoy hosting veterinary students for their externships/clerkships and can do so by providing a private bedroom and full bath in the clinic's finished second floor.

Requirements
The ideal candidate is someone who values community and diversity and is passionate about people and pets! This is a great opportunity for an experienced veterinarian with a desire to lead our practice. The incoming Veterinarian will be responsible for overseeing all professional services, implementing veterinary and patient care policies and procedures, licenses, and related matters, and will ultimately serve as “Veterinarian in charge.”
