Great Lakes Equine is an equine-exclusive veterinary clinic providing routine and emergency care for approximately 2,000 horses within a 150-mile radius of Hortonville, WI. We are seeking full-time associate veterinarian for our well established and growing five doctor equine practice. Previous experience or internship training desired for the associate role, but if you are a new graduate interested in an internship, please reach out as we do have an intern opening as well!
An 11,000 square foot clinic and hospital with surgical suite provides an exceptional atmosphere for more advanced procedures and overnight medical cases. We are approximately 80% ambulatory and 20% in clinic. Each one of our doctors at GLE has a fully-stocked ambulatory vehicle with state -of the art equipment including digital radiography, digital ultrasound, shockwave machine and powerfloat dental equipment. Great Lakes Equine provides emergency services 24/7 therefore this position requires limited night and weekend emergency call on a rotating basis. We are a progressive practice offering dentistry, sport horse medicine, lameness and performance evaluations, high-quality internal medicine, reproductive services, wellness care and integrative medicine. Our technicians and support staff provide each doctor with excellent technical support and scheduling that makes the day smooth and efficient.
