Bulger Veterinary Hospital, located in Lawrence, Massachusetts, is seeking full or part-time General Practitioners to join our 24/7 Emergency, General Practice and Specialty referral hospital.  

We are looking for talented, energetic, personable individuals with strong communication and interpersonal skills, to be contributing members of our highly collaborative veterinary team. Our busy general practitioners can make up to $175,000 per year and schedules are created based upon the individual desires and needs of the practitioner. 

The general practice at Bulger provides a unique setting for a general practitioner. We are a large general practice team that operates autonomously within the hospital, but with the valuable resource of specialists and emergency clinicians to assist both formally and informally with cases.  Emergencies and critical cases can be handled in-house and there is minimal need to refer cases to outside facilities when they require overnight or specialty care:

• Surgery
• Internal Medicine
• Ophthalmology
• Exotics
• Anesthesia
• Cardiology
• Critical Care
• Diagnostic Imaging
• Emergency services 

Individual practitioners are encouraged to pursue interests, and our team of general practitioners provide services such as:

• Rehabilitation
• Theriogenology
• Dentistry

Bulger Veterinary Hospital is part of the Ethos Veterinary Health network of hospitals, providing our clinicians the opportunity to be part of a larger network of hospitals, but still maintain our distinctive identity. We are supported by nearby Ethos hospitals with Neurology, Oncology, Interventional Radiology, and an in-network compounding pharmacy.
