We are a non-corporate practice with a long-standing staff with a family feel. We encourage mentorship and are highly focused on medicine. Our practices are located in a great neighborhood in the best city, and our clients truly want to do what is best for their pets.  We have the newest equipment, laparoscopy, and more.
The two facilities are right around the corner from each other (a 5-minute walk) and share doctors and staff, where one building is a state-of-the-art cat-only hospital.
We offer all the benefits and compensation expected, but mostly, we offer the chance to work in a positive environment with a healthy culture that promotes what veterinary medicine should be. Our seven veterinarians meet regularly, as do our staff, and the well-being of our staff is of utmost importance.

Candidate qualifications include, but are not limited to;

• Communicates well with fellow veterinary team members and clients
• Has an inquiring and inquisitive mind
• Delivers high-quality care while minimizing patient stress and discomfort
• Is willing to work hard and stay focused in a very busy environment
• Would like to work as part of a very supportive, diverse, and inclusive team
• Wants full-time work and is willing to work some weekends (approx 1 to 2 Saturdays a month for 1/2 a day)

Spicewood Springs Animal Hospital is comprised of a dedicated group of veterinarians assisting Austin’s small animal community. We provide full-service veterinary care, including regular medical, emergency, and surgical care and boarding for cats and dogs. Our hospital is equipped with the latest technology in diagnostics and treatment. Our doctors and staff remain up to date on medical advances and strive to practice at the profession's highest level.
