East County Large and Small Animal Practice is seeking a full-time Veterinarian to join our team.

This job provides opportunity to work as a Large Animal Veterinarian with minimal time on call. This position would add a 7th Veterinarian with on call being divided between Doctors. With close proximity to Mountains and the Beach, there are endless opportunities for outdoor recreation. This is a full-time position but arrangements can be made if a part-time job is desired. 

We are looking for a compassionate team player with excellent interpersonal skills, great medical/surgical skills and the confidence to work independently. We are looking for someone who truly has a passion for seeing a wide variety of species from performance horses to dogs and cats.

Our clinic is uniquely located just outside of the city and it provides a true country-style Small and Mixed-Large animal Veterinary experience. We have in-house/mobile digital radiography equipment, small animal anesthesia machines, portable ultrasounds, small/large animal surgery suite, and equine/ruminant haul-in facilities. Each doctor is provided with a truck and fully stocked vet-box for ambulatory work. On-call is split between the doctors with additional time off granted following a weekend on-call.
