Our doctors work, on average, 6.5 hours per day, which translates into 30-32 hours per week.
Our staff runs the facility, so you don't have to. We have techs and receptionists that have been here thirty years. Our support staff ratios are 4-5 to one, and our average compensation for them is $20 per hour. We have a full-time office manager and a business developer, who can implement new ideas and spend time on the essential things, like our staff. We are not corporate-owned!
We have a "house mom" who takes care of us. That includes stocking the fridge with veggies and other tasty treats.
We pay for everything (Licenses, health insurance, liability insurance, disability). We don't want you to worry about anything but practicing medicine.
In addition, you receive:
- Three weeks of paid time off and additional time off to pursue CE.
- A retirement plan and 3% matching.
- Relocation stipend
- Student loan allowance
We believe you should be involved in how you get paid. We want to design a system that suits you; we are flexible and open to almost anything, whether ProSal, straight salary, or something more creative; let's work together. You work 30-32, but we pay 40.
Family Veterinary Clinic is beyond comparison when it comes to its facility. The most common response from our clients is, "This is nicer than my home." We were designed and built as a veterinary clinic with our patients, clients, and us in mind. We are in a parklike setting, surrounded by three acres of open space. All of that, but only minutes from D.C. Baltimore and Annapolis.
The building looks like a home, but in the back, it is state-of-the-art. Paperless medical records (You have a laptop), full-body and dental x-ray, end-tidal CO2, ultrasound, heated recovery cages, acupuncture, the list goes on.
