Established in 1976, EVH is a privately owned practice that is seeking a strong, experienced practice manager/director of operations to manage and maintain the daily operations of a small animal hospital located in Eldersburg, Maryland. The successful candidate must possess the experience and skills to maximize production via daily client appointment and personnel scheduling, thereby maximizing our daily production to overhead ratio. The candidate will be experienced and knowledgeable with respect to the inventory of pharmaceuticals and hospital supplies, and the purveyance of the aforementioned in accordance with hospital needs. The candidate must have a working knowledge of HR protocols and the ability to interact with personnel, clients and associates in a professional, empathetic and compassionate manner. The candidate will have the skills and wherewithal (or delegate to a subordinate) to enhance and promote public exposure via social media, and monitor the same. The compensation package is negotiable based on experience and credentials, however, will include vacation pay, sick pay, some flex hours, paid health care, and a quarterly production bonus based on achieving production targets. Eldersburg Veterinary Hospital (EVH), located at 1527 Liberty Road, Eldersburg, MD 21784, was established in1976 and is the first veterinary hospital to faithfully serve this community for decades.
