We are seeking emergency veterinarians (both full time and/or part time) to join our fast paced, AAHA certified, progressive emergency practice in Iowa's capital city of Des Moines. Our practice is a 24 hour Emergency/Specialty hospital that has been in operation for over 40 years. With 10 emergency veterinarians, 2 boarded staff specialty surgeons, an Exotics department, an Integrative Care Department and 40 veterinary technicians, digital x-ray, full service in house IDEXX lab, clinical pathology telemedicine service and pharmacy services and on-site  CT, our hospital is Iowa's locally owned emergency and specialty hospital.

Our team practices high quality medicine for the best client and patient care. Doctors schedules are published 3 months in advance so YOU can make plans for your off time. We offer 8 hour, 10 hour and 12 hour shifts around the clock. We can work with your needs. We have an incredible group of collaborative veterinarians who work as team and care for each other while caring for patients and clients. We strongly support continuing education for all of our team and our doctors regularly attend IVECCS conferences as well as other regional conferences with their generous CE allowance. 

We are looking for the right individuals to join our team and grow with us. We will provide 6 months of one on one mentorship if desired and support you as you grow in your career.
