Humphrey Giacopuzzi & Associates Equine Hospital (HGAEH), is looking for an enthusiastic Associate Veterinarian. Ideal candidate would be proficient in all aspects of large animal care, including both emergency and routine procedures. HGAEH is a full service, well-established equine practice located in Southern California close to both the beaches of Los Angeles and the vineyards of Santa Barbara county. The hospital recently celebrated 30 years of primary and referral services. With six ambulatory vehicles, and a fully equipped hospital, the practice treats a full spectrum of equine patients from backyard pets to FEI sport horses.

Housing for 30 in-patients
Full in-house laboratory capabilities
24-hour technical staff (RVTs and experienced veterinary assistants) and administrative support staff
3 indoor examination areas with stocks
Neonatal unit/intensive care unit with oxygen and slinging capabilities
2 isolation units with oxygen and slinging capabilities
1M and 3.5M video endoscopy/gastroscopy
2 portable digital radiology units (Sound Next and Cuattro Uno)
300 MA overhead/standing radiology unit for abdominal/thoracic studies
2 Ultrasounds (MyLab 30 Gold and Logiq e)

The clinic has been in operation for over 25 years and includes both ambulatory and hospital services. Staff doctors are available for routine appointments, emergencies and surgical procedures. A doctor lives on site and 24-hour technical staff is present to provide the best care for hospitalized patients. Around the clock intensive care is provided on site for medical and surgical cases including colics, neurological, neonatal, ophthalmic and reproductive cases.
