Prairie Ridge Veterinary Clinic is interested in providing meaningful externship experiences to veterinary students. AB&B living quarters and a stipend of $500.00/week are provided.  Prairie Ridge Veterinary Clinic in Havana, Illinois, a 90% small animal, single doctor practice, was founded in 1986 by Dr. Rod Yetter, who is a life long resident of Havana and a 1983 graduate of the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine.  Havana is a small town of about 3,500 people located on the Illinois River in Central Illinois about half way between Peoria and Springfield.
