The Kansas State Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory (KSVDL) and Department of Diagnostic Medicine/Pathobiology, College of Veterinary Medicine, Kansas State University invite applications for a Clinical Track position in Client Services/Outreach at the Assistant Professor level.
This position carries an appointment of 100% service/outreach, in which the primary role will be oversight and supervision to the KSVDL Client Services Accessioning Area. This will involve overseeing and assisting with daily accessioning of incoming diagnostic samples within Client Services including review of submission forms, setting testing/sample priority, and guidance on sample routing. This includes frequent communication with KSVDL clients (rDVMs), Client Care, and KSVDL faculty to assure appropriate test/sample selection and rapid process completion. Engagement in KSVDL outreach activities are expected. Companion animal practice experience is preferred. Minimum Qualifications:
DVM degree or equivalent
Small animal experience preferred/needed
Excellent communication skills are required
