Loomis Basin Equine Medical Group consists of approximately 40 doctors working out of 10 different locations. The main hospital sits on 28 acres east of Sacramento in the Sierra foothills close to skiing, the American river, and various state and national parks. The other locations include Napa Valley, North Coast, the San Francisco Bay Area, and Los Angeles. We are a growing medical group with the main hospital facility housing 80-130 horses depending on the time of year and includes climate controlled ICU stalls, isolation stalls, and various barns, paddocks and pastures. The hospital employs over 40 technicians that help with the ambulatory, surgery, and ICU patients. LBEMG is known for its continuous learning culture, investment in new technologies and medical excellence.
