Stone Veterinary hospital is a full service, small animal and exotics practice that is seeking a full time or part time veterinarian.  Located in beautiful southern Litchfield County, Stone Veterinary Hospital offers a wide range of services including general medicine, exotics medical care and alternative medicine with a certified veterinary acupuncturist/ chiropractor on staff.  We are a growing practice with a great reputation that offers excellent patient and client care.  There is a low staff turnover with a strong atmosphere of camaraderie. About Our Hospital

-Stone Veterinary Hospital is a service-oriented practice, dedicated to patient and client care.

-Currently Stone Veterinary Hospital offers the services of three full time veterinarians and two part time veterinarians. 

-Well trained, dedicated support staff.

-Well educated clients.

-A complete in house Idexx laboratory

-Digital (DR) radiography

-Digital (DR) dental radiography

-Ultrasonography

-Complete surgical suite with state-of-the-art monitoring equipment.

-Well established relationships with referral centers throughout the region.

Position Requirements

-Doctor of Veterinary Medicine

-Connecticut Veterinary License

-Ability to communicate well with clients and staff.

-Strong surgical skills who is confident and efficient in performing routine surgical procedures.

-Flexibility to work on rotating Saturdays ( office calls 8.30 -noon)

-A sense of humor is mandatory.
