Edenwood is a 1 doctor, small animal clinic in need of a detail oriented, compassionate full-time veterinarian. We practice high quality, personalized medicine for the family pet. We are well equipped with digital radiographs, ultrasound, Heska blood machines, surgical laser and therapeutic laser. We have an outstanding support staff that includes 1 full time and 1 part time registered veterinary technician. This allows for the doctor to concentrate on medicine and not on computer entry, blood draws or taking radiographs. We focus on being a stress free clinic for the animals, so a majority of our animals like coming to the vet! The Edenwood staff spends a lot of time together, so the working environment is friendly, fun and supportive. This environment carries over into the exam room and the clients always see a group of professionals that truly enjoy their job at making pets feel better. Guidance and mentoring to newly employed veterinarians to ease the transition into our practice and our clients. Our technicians pride themselves on being "super techs"! The entire staff is exceptional and truly makes Edenwood what it is today! (All but 2 of our employees have been here over 15 years!)
Tiffin is a wonderful, growing and exciting town with 2 colleges and many innovative and niche businesses. It is the perfect place for a young professional and to raise a family! We are close to Lake Erie and just an hour away from Columbus.
This is a full time position entailing a 4 day work week, no on call hours and no weekends.

Additional Salary Information: Salary is dependent on experience and time worked. Full time veterinary positions receive 2 weeks paid vacation, health insurance, disability, DEA and professional dues and a CE allowance.

Edenwood Veterinary Clinic is a small animal clinic in a rural setting. Our motto is "Quality, Compassionate Care for Your Family Pet". I currently employ 1 full time and 1 part time technician, along with an office manager, kennel supervisor and 3 assistants. Most of the employees have been here for more than 15 years. Edenwood is a moderate volume, high quality practice. After hours emergencies are referred to Toledo or Columbus. I have Heska blood machines, digital radiography, ultrasound, laser surgery and therapeutic laser for our patients. We are closely integrated with our patients and we truly strive to become part of the family. This ensures better care for the family pet and the owners are more willing to call when there is a problem or even just a question. Our clientele is wonderful and we draw many of them from Heidelberg University and Tiffin University. We are located in the southern aspect of Tiffin, OH and Seneca County. Tiffin is a city of 18,000 and is the county seat of Seneca County. Tiffin has just been ranked in the top 10 national cities for economic development. We are approximately 90 minutes from Toledo and 60 minutes from Columbus. The city of Tif...fin is constantly growing and providing new opportunities for small businesses and families almost on a daily basis. Edenwood is located in the Mohawk school district. Mohawk provides an excellent education in a Pre-K to 12 school. Benefits include personal knowledge of the teachers and administration and a quiet, agricultural setting conducive for learning.
