VCA Firehouse Animal Hospital is seeking an Associate Veterinarian for our rapidly growing, seven doctor, AAHA-accredited practice near Downtown Denver. We set the highest standards in client service and veterinary medicine in a state of the art medical facility. We are a hospital that emphasizes the importance of preventative medical care including dentistry and believes in strong client communication.
Excellent medical and surgical skills are a basic requirement at Firehouse. Our doctors separate themselves from their colleagues in three areas:
The first: Client service. It's not a question of whether your client is happy today; it is a relationship that doesn't end at a single appointment. You are a vital part of a team that places the highest importance on the client's experience.
The second: Patient advocacy. Our doctors are true patient advocates, making recommendations for care based on the individual needs of the patient. Firehouse provides our doctors with a solid foundation that allows the art of veterinary practice to thrive.
The third: Valuing the team. Our doctors make medical decisions for patients, and our highly effective staff helps to implement the care. We utilize our technician team and client service staff to their full potential. The doctor leads a team that provides solid medical care for each patient and outstanding service to each client. As part of the team, we commit to giving you the tools to grow in all three areas over the long term.
DVM or VMD degree (or equivalent); current licensure in good standing in the state of Colorado; personal and professional recommendations; well developed computer skills; minimum one year of medical experience.
