We are looking for a Fear Free Associate Veterinarian to work full-time, Country Oaks has been a part of the Sacramento community since 1967.  With new ownership in 2015, we have finally completed our major renovation. Our new facility is a state-of-the-art building designed with our patient’s and staff's physical and emotional well-being in mind.  The practice is looking towards the future but will always honor the time-tested practice of superior client service, while offering the latest in technology, medicine, and compassion.

We are looking for our 5^th veterinarian to add to our outstanding team. A veterinarian who is willing to practice Fear Free Medicine, focusing on the pet's physical and emotional well-being. We need a veterinarian that is efficient (1/2 hour appointments), team player, ethical, reliable, responsible, have a great sense of humor and willing to continue learn and grow with the rest of us.

Fear Free Certified Practice & Feline Friendly Certified, GOLD

Country Oaks is a privately owned hospital that respects work-life balance and is offering 3 days on and 4 days off a week or 4 days on with 3 days off. Part-time position will be considered if you desire. No after hour emergencies. Our alternative schedule will allow you to spend time with your family and friends, visit many of our areas famous locations such as: Historical Old Town Sacramento, Lake Tahoe, Folsom Lake, Napa Valley, Redwoods, San Francisco, beautiful California beaches, local gold rush communities, Yosemite and so much more.

Would you like to specialize in something? Example: exotics, acupuncture, ophthalmology, we will support you! (you are not required to work with exotics)  Let us know.

Excellent salary, $110,000. to $190,000. Guaranteed base pay with NO deductions. Healthcare, 2 week vacation, CE allowance, paid CE days, Fear Free Certification, liability, healthcare and other benefits.
