Associate Veterinarian

Allenstown Animal Hospital is an independently owned small animal hospital caring for the medical needs of our patients since 1984.  We are expanding to 3 doctors and currently have a full time opening for an experienced veterinarian to join our staff.  Ideal candidates will be client oriented, proficient in all aspects of general practice including diagnostics and treatment, surgery and dentistry.  We emphasize a caring work environment for our staff and relationship-building with our clients.  We have a full in-house lab, digital whole body and dental radiology and modern and well-equipped facility.

Understanding the importance of work/life balance, we offer a 4-day work week with alternating 3-day weekends off.  We welcome and support new ideas and areas of interest you may bring to our practice. We take pride in offering high quality medical care, tailored to each individual pet’s need.  We are a full-service hospital providing the majority of patient care in-house. Advanced surgical and orthopedic procedures and ultrasound are performed at our facility by traveling board certified specialists.  There are several specialty hospitals nearby for those cases that need advanced care options.  After hours emergencies are referred to nearby emergency clinics.  We do not offer boarding or doggie day care.

We are located midway between Concord (the State Capitol) and Manchester, NH (the largest city in NH).  Allenstown is home to Bear Brook State Park, offering camping, fishing, hiking, mountain biking, and cross-country skiing.  Boston is an hour drive to the South; the seacoast is an hour drive to the East and the beautiful White Mountains are an hour’s drive North.
