Our progressive, four-vet, small-animal practice in Des Moines, Iowa, is looking for a full-time Associate Veterinarian focused on high-quality care, client satisfaction, and community, to add to our team.

Practicing state-of-the-art medicine and surgery since 1977, Ingersoll Animal Hospital has a well-established client base of pet parents devoted to high-quality care. We are proudly Certified Feline-Friendly, and have a long-standing AAHA Accreditation!

Associate Veterinarians at IAH enjoy having state of the art tools at their fingertips that allow them to provide the best options for their patients.  Our facility includes:

• digital x-ray,
• ultrasound,
• rigid laparoscopic surgery,
• laser therapy,
• video otoscope, 
• in-house lab,
• Pawsitive Strides - a separate facility dedicated to a variety of rehab services.

In addition, DVM’s at IAH have an amazing support staff with experienced technicians to assist them in the care and treatment of patients. This is an excellent opportunity to develop long-term, professional relationships with a top-notch health care team and devoted clientele. 

The IAH team takes great pride in supporting our local community, regularly working with organizations - both human and animal - such as the Puppy Jake Foundation, Animal Rescue League, Food Bank of Iowa, Pet Project Midwest, various breed rescues, and many more.
