Full or Part Time

Busy, private, small animal practice located in the heart of the charming city of Mebane, North Carolina, is seeking a Registered Veterinary Technician. We are currently located in a shopping center but are soon moving into a new 5300 sq ft stand-alone facility that is currently under construction, due to be completed April, 20 2021. Located conveniently off of Interstate 40, near Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill and Greensboro. 

The practice is well equipped with:

• Ultrasound
• Dental radiology coming soon (April 2021)
• Complete IDEXX laboratory in house diagnostics (including sedivue) and reference lab,
• Digital IDEXX DR radiology
• Cold laser
• Complete anesthesia monitoring equipment including ECG, SpO2, RR, CO2, BP/MAP.
• Doppler BP
• Tonopen
• Cornerstone Software

We are Cat Friendly Practice Silver certified and utilize Fear Free handling. 

We also will be seeing some exotics and possibly small pigs and goats so familiarity with these species is a plus, but not required. 

Practice fully utilizes Cornerstone software and paperless records.

The ideal candidate should posses strong anesthesia skills, dental prophylaxis and dental exam/probing skills, surgical assisting skills and interpersonal skills.
