Located in the quickly growing city of McDonough, we are only 25 minutes from midtown Atlanta. The area has great shopping, dining and cultural attractions, including the Georgia Aquarium. We are a full service veterinary practice including soft tissue surgery, digital x-ray imaging, cold laser therapy, and complete dental services (with digital dental radiographs). We also use a fully computerized electronic medical record and the AVImark practice management software. We offer patient wellness plans and extensive modern client communications. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, a great work ethic and a focus on client service and quality care. All candidates who are willing to work with us to meet practice goals regardless of experience or interests are welcome. Due to the urgent relocation of an existing DVM we are looking for someone as soon as possible. 2021 graduates are also welcome. We have a robust mentoring system. Georgia DVM license required. We are open 6 days a week currently we operate until 6pm daily. Our schedule is very flexible and we work together to create a schedule of 40 hours per week that works for all of our doctors. After hours emergencies are handled by the local emergency clinic. In our current schedule all doctors receive at least one regular weekday off each week and regular weekends off, plus other days. Salary is based on experience and abilities. Position offers very high quality Humana health insurance, Dental insurance, paid CE, liability insurance, 2 weeks paid vacation, and license/dues. Salary is paid on a ProSal basis. A base salary plus a commission for production in excess of your base salary. We are very competitive on salary.
