At Home Veterinary seeks an outgoing, friendly, and dynamic veterinarian to join our well-established and respected house call practice serving greater Boston and MetroWest. You will join an existing team of three house call veterinarians and a dedicated support staff of veterinary assistants providing high-quality personalized medicine for dogs and cats at home. We provide a full range of primary care medicine in clients' homes, including routine check-ups, sick pet visits, diagnostics (bloodwork, urine/fecal testing,etc.), ultrasound, management of chronic diseases, hospice, and end-of-life care.
In a typical day you will see 5 to 7 appointments in clients' homes, with one or more pets at each appointment. House calls are a great fit for veterinarians who are outgoing and enjoy the human side of veterinary medicine, but who also are organized and efficient in their work. Previous house call experience is not required, as we will guide and train you on the specific techniques that work well with house calls. Recent graduates are invited to apply as well, as we can provide one-on-one mentorship as you begin your practice.
A typical full-time appointment schedule is four days a week plus one Saturday a month, and also next-day follow-up calls and case management based on test results from the previous day's appointments. Massachusetts veterinary license required.

Additional Salary Information: We offer substantial salary and benefits, including health and dental insurance, 401(k) with employer contributions, bonuses, and allowances for CE, PLIT, professional memberships, and licensing fees. Pro-Sal compensation (guaranteed base salary, with percentage of production above the base). Expected salary is in the range of $100,000 to $125,000 plus benefits, with room for growth beyond that range as well.
