Hurley Veterinary Hospital is looking for a Veterinarian to diagnose and treat our clients' animals. Our clinic specializes in dogs and cats and occasionally smaller and larger animals. We take care of two Animal Sanctuary's. Located in the beautiful Hudson Valley. There are a tremendous amount of recreational opportunities for people of all ages, such as hiking, biking, running, or walking your favorite four-legged friend. The area 's scenery, outdoor activities, farms and orchards are spectacular. We are only an hour and a half away from Albany and New York City.
We offer a generous compensation and benefits package to the right individual. Salary is commensurate with experience. We offer a 4 day work week and one Saturday a month to work and be on call for that weekend.
Exam animals and check their health records.
Diagnose illnesses and determine the best treatment
Dress wounds of injured animals
Perform dental, opthalmic and orthopedic surgeries
Vaccinate animals to prevent diseases
Spay and neuter cats and dogs as needed
Prescribe medication
Advise pet owners on nutrition, preventive health care and general care
Update client records

Our practice is 90% small animal 10% exotics and farm animals. We have 3 full time Veterinarians and two part time. The practice is located a few miles from Kingston, NY in the heart of the Hudson Valley.
