We are a busy and growing small animal hospital located in Canton, Georgia.  Cherokee Animal Hospital is proudly, independently owned practice and has been selected as the Best Veterinarian in Canton by our clientele.  We have just received this honor again for 2021 making this our 5th win in the last 6 years.  We attribute our success to our commitment to building trusting relationships with our clients and providing the highest standard of veterinary care to their pets.

We are seeking a full time veterinarian to join our compassionate and dedicated team. We are prepared to mentor and guide through medicine and surgery skills as well as with business aspects to those that are interested.  We are currently a full, three doctor practice, have an amazing nursing and CSR staff, as well as office and practice managers.  Our inclusive team allows our doctors have the option of being involved in directing our medical and business decisions if they choose.

Our practice is located in relatively new (2011) and very well maintained facility equipped with digital standard and dental x-ray.  Other equipment includes ultrasound, high speed dental drills, therapeutic laser, tonopen and full in-house Idexx lab equipment.  Scheduling and medical records are fully computerized.  We provide alternative and complementary medicine options such as acupuncture and laser therapy and are actively building a behavior program.  Our doctors have on day off every week and work every other Saturday until noon.  Doctors average 35-40 hours per week.  We refer to local emergency and specialty hospitals.  Benefits include health insurance contributions, paid licensing and association fees, uniform budget, CE, paid vacation and a 401K with match.
