Noah’s Ark Animal Hospital is a 4000 square foot clinic working in cooperation with the Noah’s Ark Animal Shelter. It is a low cost spay/neuter clinic with reasonable prices, and also offers vaccines, exams, heartworm testing, microchipping, FELV/FIV testing, fecal exams and more. Overpopulation of animals is one of the main causes of death of domesticated cats and dogs. We encourage all people to do their part and have their animals altered in an effort to better their health and reduce the stray population. This full-time veterinarian position is located in Rockford, IL 61107. Relocation to this area is necessary. ABOUT THE VETERINARIAN ROLE: The veterinarian examines companion animals for general health and disease management. Diagnoses health issues, performs diagnostic tests, treats animals for illness or injury, including medical and surgical procedures, dental work, wound care, setting fractures and prescribing medications. Veterinarian operates various medical equipment. Advises animal owners about general care of their animals and provides compassionate care of the animals and their owners, especially when dealing with a sick animal.
