Valley Veterinary Hospital , located 20 miles outside of Philadelphia is expanding and looking for an engaging, eloquent, diligent veterinarian to join our staff. Valley Veterinary hospital was established in 1996 and is an independent privately owned facility that is focused on high level progressive care to our clients and patients. We are currently 4 doctors and 8 technicians, and are looking to add to our professional staff.
We have moved to a brand new enhanced and spacious facility which has fostered significant growth. Our new 20,000 sf facility contains boarding , grooming, daycare and training to enable us to provide complete lifetime care to our patients. We continue to be the premier general practice in the area. The practice currently utilizes an in house lab, digital radiology, ultrasound, dental equipment, tonometry and more. The new facility includes 2 new surgical suites, a dual dental table, spacious radiology, 2 treatment rooms and 5 exam rooms. The facility as well as our staffing will enable you to practice veterinary medicine commensurate with your training and limited only by your imagination. We are looking for an individual who can help us to continue our Mission of Care Commitment and Compassion as we move into this new landmark facility.

VMD/ DVM or equivalent. Must be available to work full time , including rotating weekends and 2 evenings per week . Applicant must Physically be able to handle the requisites of the position such as , but not inclusive of being able to lift 50 lbs, physically be able to handle dogs and cats, be legally cleared to work in the United States, and to have exceptional communication skills. Skill or interests with Exotics, Rehabilitation medicine, is encouraged.
Applicant must be able to see clients every 30 minutes, integrate well with support staff, and have the necessary or developing surgical skills for a general practice .

Additional Salary Information: Medical, 401K, Production Bonus, Vacation, Sick/ personal days , Personal Pet care , Dues and Malpractice Insurance are all included in total compensation.
