Position Description
The successful candidate will supervise and perform activities for the Division
of Animal Industry’s Equine Programs within the state. The primary duties and responsibilities of the Equine Veterinarian Manager position are related to the
division’s mission of safeguarding Florida’s Animal Industry and the public through animal disease control and emergency response. This position will administer the Equine Programs specific inspection programs and other duties related to prevention, control and eradication of transmissible and communicable diseases. This role requires promoting and maintaining positive working relations between the Equine Program’s team and the Equine Industry of Florida. This position is eligible for a comprehensive benefits package through the State of Florida.
