Privately owned and operated by a DVM mom, All Pets provides full-service small animal general medicine, surgery, and dentistry services to dogs, cats, birds and exotics. We have weekly doctor meetings and rounds to assure quality communication throughout our hospital. We strive to provide preventative and comprehensive care for pets throughout their lives and build long-term relationships with our clients and their pets. Our staff is highly trained to support the doctors so we can achieve our goals. Our veterinarians enjoy a doctor to staff ratio of 1:7. Doctors perform physical exams, create diagnostic and treatment plans and do surgery and dentistry. Our support staff executes the rest.
We provide a supportive and educational network for our doctors as well as generous benefits. Our veterinarians have the ability to consult with 10 doctors (4 at All Pets and 6 at our sister hospitals) in addition our traveling board-certified internist and board-certified surgeon are also available to consult. We foster a work atmosphere where veterinarians have a VSS (veterinary support specialist) that they work with as their “personal assistant” to meet patient and client needs. Generous CE allowance ($2000 per year) where doctors are encouraged to learn new skills to help grow themselves and the hospital. Our weekly doctor meetings invite collaboration and a teamwork atmosphere. Prefer either interned trained or have 3 years general practice experience, new graduates considered who are highly motivated to work hard and love to learn. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about veterinary medicine and is confident in their abilities and social interactions. Someone who really enjoys working with clients, keeping pets healthy, and healing them. Ideal candidate would possess great communication skills, be highly motivated to help pets and their people, and practice sound medicine. Surgical skills desired: proficient with routine spay/neuter, dental surgery including extractions and flaps, mass removals. Additional surgical skills a plus include cystotomies, splenectomy, foreign body removal and exotic surgery. Surgical skills not required. Integrative and holistic approach is also valued. Interest in avian and exotics a plus but not required.
