Oceanlake Veterinary Clinic is a busy, primarily small animal clinic in the coastal community of Lincoln City, Oregon. Our clinic believes in "Caring for your pets like family" and it shows in our rapport with our clients and staff. We are seeking a full time veterinarian that would like to be an active part of our clinic family and the Lincoln City community. Doctors have 2 surgery days per week and work 4 day work weeks with approx. a 40 hour week. We provide access to your medical records from home so you can write on records from the comfort of your own home whenever you prefer. Enjoy a 3 day weekend every week to explore the beautiful surroundings or recharge with family and friends! We offer a wide range of veterinary services to our clients including, but not limited to soft tissue (and some orthopedic) surgeries, dentistry, ultrasound and digital radiography, full in-house laboratory, digital record-keeping, routine wellness exams/immunizations, and hospitalization in clinic as needed. After hours emergencies are sent to emergency clinics in neighboring communities.

Additional Salary Information: We also offer VIN, AVMA, and OVMA yearly membership dues and AVMA PLIT insurance premiums, $1,500/year paid CE, paid Oregon licensing. 4 day, approx. 40 hour per week work weeks, no weekends/holidays; 2 weeks paid vacation, no emergency or after-hours call unless desired, 401 (k), health/dental insurance, pet benefits. Oceanlake Veterinary Clinic is a primarily small animal clinic (with some birds and small mammals) on the Central Oregon Coast in Lincoln City. We pride ourselves on exceptional customer service and client and staff education. We are active members of the local community and know our clients well. We value our team and your time in AND away from the clinic! The beautiful central coast is only 2-3 hours Southwest of Portland and 1 hour West of Salem. This area abounds with gorgeous scenery, hiking trails, and opportunities to kayak or boat on Devil's Lake in Lincoln City (a five minute drive from the clinic). This area is also known for our amazing microbrews, seafood festivals, and some type of community event or activity nearly every weekend throughout the year. It's also a whale-watchers/storm-watchers dream! While we see year-round clients, we also have many "snowbirds" that spend half the year with us, as well as Portlanders that have dual home ownership and prefer our care for the veterinary needs. Oceanlake Veterinary Clinic is open Monday through Friday from 8am – 5:30pm, with no operating hours on weekends or major holidays.
We are currently in the process of ...building a brand new 5,000 sq. ft. veterinary hospital and boarding facility. Our new hospital was designed by a veterinary architect and is approximately ¼ mile south of our current location. We currently offer a full range of veterinary services such as dentistry, surgery, and diagnostics. We will also offer boarding care once we move to our new location. We have full in-house lab equipment, an ultrasound, Class IV therapy laser, digital Heska/Cuattro CloudDR High Definition Imaging, excellent anesthetic monitoring including capnography, pulse oximetry, BP monitoring, esophageal stethoscope/core temperature monitoring, and active heat support. We strive to provide excellent medicine in a warm, friendly environment. Our team enjoys their work and it shows! We employ 2 full time certified veterinary technicians and many other staff members. We will continue to grow, especially as we move into our new facility in early 2021.
