This full-time position is ideal for someone with a love for horses who is looking for the professional support and mentorship to transition to equine practice. Our team of five experienced female veterinarians is passionate about growing our practice with the addition of the right person. This person would learn how to balance the demands of equine practice with life outside of work. Additionally, they would expect a positive, non-traditional work environment, where everyone is heard and challenges are regularly approached by thinking outside the box. Candidates should be interested in all aspects of general ambulatory equine practice that would include, but not be limited to basic reproduction, herd health, dentistry, and lameness. By working along side our team of outstanding veterinarians, you will become acquainted (or reacquainted) with equine practice and gain the confidence you need to successfully join a profession that is moving in the right direction!
The schedule for this position is generally Monday-Friday with the potential for some flexibility during the quieter months. Candidates should be prepared to work one weeknight per week, and one weekend per month on call.
