The Fairhaven Veterinary Hospital, a Fear Free Certified Practice since 2018, is located in Bellingham, WA, voted one of the most livable small cities in the United States by Outdoor Magazine. Bellingham is located along the salt waters of Puget Sound within easy reach of Vancouver, B.C., Seattle, Mount Baker and Whistler ski resorts, the San Juan Islands and 3 National Parks. We seek a FT or PT Associate DVM to join our team of 6 Drs. in a small animal hospital equipped with digital radiology, in house diagnostics, iM3 dentistry, and ultrasound. All Drs. are supported by a well-trained and educated team of Licensed Veterinary Nurses, Veterinary Assistants and Customer Service Reps. Our hospital has a culture where the staff enjoy coming to work and clients know we truly respect the bond they have with their pets. Openings for employment at our hospital are rare. Turnover is not our business!

• FT Veterinarians work 32 floor hours over 4 days with no more than 12 appointments daily. Additional flexible time for charting and callbacks typically adds 4-6 hours weekly. FT Associates rarely exceed 38 hours weekly.
• PT Veterinarians work 24 floor hours over 3 days with no more than 12 appointments daily. Additional flexible time for charting and callbacks typically adds 2-4 hours weekly. PT Associates rarely exceed 28 hours weekly.
• Remote options allow working from home on charts and callbacks.
• Surgery and dentistry shifts are optional. If you like to focus on Outpatient care only, we can make that happen!
• No Saturdays/Sundays or emergency/on-call hours.
