Wilson Veterinary Hospital is a small animal practice, providing quality medicine in a compassionate environment for over 30 years. We have one veterinarian currently, as our other recently retired. We are seeking an experienced Associate or Medical Director to continue leading our team!
Wilson Veterinary Hospital is located in North Salt Lake, Utah, which is 10 minutes from downtown Salt Lake City. There are plenty of fun things to do in the Salt Lake City area! Utah's world-famous mountains are just minutes away and winter brings the Greatest Snow on Earth for skiing, snowboarding, and snowmobiling. Hiking, rock climbing, mountain biking, fishing, and boating are just a few of the summer activities to be enjoyed. Salt Lake City is ranked #15 by US News for best places to live, and Utah is home to five national parks and several world-class ski resorts.
We offer tools to allow you to practice quality medicine including digital radiology, digital dental radiology, a full range of in-house laboratory equipment, ultrasound and endoscopy consultation (mobile veterinary consultants), acupuncture, laser therapy, and a full on-site pharmacy/online pharmacy. Most importantly, we have a terrific team of experienced support staff.
The ideal candidate would have 5+ years of professional experience and be friendly, compassionate and motivated to care for pets and their people. A good sense of humor with a high level of professionalism would be optimal. Strong general surgical skills are a plus and the freedom to pursue your niche in veterinary medicine is encouraged.

About Wilson Veterinary Hospital
Blue River PetCare's mission is to provide a long-term home for local practices that selling owners have worked so hard to build. We are dedicated to retaining the culture of each of our hospitals in addition to the local practice of medicine. We do this by ensuring each hospital has complete medical autonomy with their choice of protocols, therapies, inventory items, vendors and even management software. We also focus on our employees’ health and well-being as much as we do the pets we treat. We would love to hear from you!
