For nearly 50 years, Columbine Animal Hospital has served the Littleton community and greater Denver area. We are in the beginning stages of modernizing our branding, website and so much more – as a result, we are looking for a hands-on Medical Director to guide our team to success!
We are a full-service, small animal hospital offering a variety of preventive care, soft-tissue surgery, and dental services. We also have a wide range of equipment and tools including digital radiography, digital dental radiography, companion therapy laser, Aesculight surgical laser, TonoVet, and in-house Idexx lab (LaserCyte, Catalyst One/DX and SnapPro). Our focus has always been on treating each patient with loving care in every check-up, surgery, or procedure. Although we are embarking on a new journey to revitalize the clinic, our mission will stay the same.
We are looking for a Medical Director with 5+ years of experience to round out our 3-doctor team. The ideal candidate will possess superior leadership skills, the ability to work collaboratively, and commit to practicing high-quality medicine. This is a management position and requires one to balance the needs of both clients and patients, in addition to the needs of the practice.
Along with family-friendly hours and a collegial atmosphere, we are proud to offer:
Signing bonus and/or relocation assistance, up to $10,000
Guaranteed base salary with opportunity to earn 22% commission
Medical, dental, and vision insurance
Short-term disability and life insurance
Paid time off for personal use and to attend continuing education
Annual continuing education allowance
Reimbursement of licensure and DEA fees
Reimbursement of professional membership dues
AVMA PLIT coverage
If you believe you are our next Medical Director, we’re excited to hear from you!
About Columbine Animal Hospital
Blue River PetCare's mission is to provide a long-term home for local practices that selling owners have worked so hard to build. We are dedicated to retaining the culture of each of our hospitals in addition to the local practice of medicine. We do this by ensuring each hospital has complete medical autonomy with their choice of protocols, therapies, inventory items, vendors and even management software. We also focus on our employees’ health and well-being as much as we do the pets we treat. We would love to hear from you!
