We are an exclusively small animal hospital located in fast growing Canton, GA in the foothills of the North Georgia Mountains. Our facility has a warm and well-trained staff and a pleasant work environment. Our facility is state of the art and offers many amenities including digital radiographs, in house lab work, and soon to be dental radiographs. We are a growing 2 doctor practice that allots 30 minute appointment slots for all of our patients. Our facility is open 5 and 1/2 days per week. Our hours are Monday through Friday 8-6 and Saturdays 8-12:30. All after hours emergencies are referred to nearby emergency hospitals, and there are several within close proximity to our facility. The hours desired would be 4 days a week, with rotating Saturdays. Salary would include paid AVMA dues, GA license dues, AVMA liability dues, $1000 towards continuing education, and monthly allotted stipends towards healthcare coverage. We are also offering a $5000 signing bonus. There is a 3 bedroom 2 bathroom home available on site for rent that could be negotiated into the salary package if desired. Salary will be dependent upon full or part-time status and level of experience. Experienced veterinarians as well as new graduates are encouraged to apply. A) Part-time: We will consider applicants with varying levels of experience. Compensation will be hourly or daily based, and we encourage any potential part-time applicants to apply.

B) Entry level: New or recent graduates with 0-3 years experience. Salary range for this position would be $75,000-$85,000, depending upon abilities and experience.

C) Mid-Level: Veterinarians with 3 or more years of experience. This position would be for an associate with established abilities that can work independently with a limited need for input and can help direct staff in the normal day-to-day operations of the hospital. Salary range for this position would be $85,000-$120,000.

D) Senior Level: Veterinarians with 10 or more years experience. This position would be a seasoned veterinarian that can independently handle complex cases and would be considered in a supervisory role for the staff and hospital operations. This position would have responsibilities associated with the hospital operations and would have the authority over hospital operations in the owner's absence. **This position would start at $130,000 with additional salary available depending upon abilities and experience. We would also consider alternate compensation packages such as ProSal, base plus production, or other methods.
