WWVC is currently seeking an enthusiastic and experienced full time veterinary technician to join our team. We are a privately owned progressive small animal clinic located in the medical district of Augusta, GA. This position offers opportunities for growth, leadership and creativity in a supportive friendly environment.
Applicants must have 3 or more years of experience working as a veterinary technician or a recent CVT/LVT graduate licensed in GA. Exceptional client communication, the ability to work efficiently within a team, self-motivation, compassion toward patient and clients, and an interest in high quality medicine a MUST!
Ideal candidates will have strong leadership and training skills, experience or interest in team management and interest in inventory organization.
Flexible schedule to enhance a positive work-life balance. No after-hours emergency duties required, however occasional limited after hours care may be necessary at times to meet the needs of our patients. We offer in-house lab, digital radiographs, ultrasound, Companion Laser, Avimark computer based record keeping, and monthly training.
Responsibilities will include but not limited to: Client education and communication, patient handling, record keeping, laboratory services, radiology, calculating and administering medication, collecting blood and samples, placing catheters, anesthetic and surgical monitoring, and dental cleaning.
