We take a team approach to veterinary medicine while maintaining at least a 2:1 Tech / Veterinarian ratio. As the Medical Director, you'll lead a thriving hospital, setting the standard for exceptional care and fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation and growth. You'll work closely with our Practice Manager, Operations Leaders, and Support Center to optimize patient care, enhance the client experience, and support a positive work environment. With a passionate team and a well-equipped facility, you'll have the opportunity to influence medical practice, mentor and develop your team, and drive success in a highly supportive setting.
Leadership Responsibilities:
- Mentor & Develop: Guide a high-performing team of veterinarians and support staff, encouraging growth through regular training and development.
- Foster Collaboration: Work closely with leadership to ensure smooth operations, implement best practices, and meet client demand efficiently.
- Build Strong Relationships: Create a trusting, compassionate environment for both clients and staff, advocating for pets and their quality of life.
- Drive Success: Collaborate on annual planning, budgeting, and productivity goals to ensure the hospital’s success and sustainability.
Clinical & Operational Impact:
- Deliver Excellence: Use your expertise to create comprehensive treatment plans, building trust through clear communication and follow-up.
- Lead with Confidence: Oversee daily hospital operations, delegating tasks to maximize productivity while maintaining high standards of care.
- Enhance Client Relationships: Address client concerns with empathy, ensuring satisfaction and loyalty.
- Uphold Integrity: Set the tone for ethical decision-making, promoting a culture of excellence.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent, required
- Veterinary License in good standing or eligibility for licensure with the applicable state veterinary board
- Minimum 5 years of clinical experience required
- 2 years of leadership experience

Requirements
