Associate Veterinarian – Companion Animal Focus | Water-View Location | Growth-Focused Culture
Location: Washington, NC
Full-Time or Part-Time | GP with Opportunity for Urgent Care or Mixed Animal Expansion
We are a well-established, privately owned companion animal hospital seeking a compassionate and goal-oriented Associate Veterinarian to join our dedicated team. About Us
Our 12,000 sq. ft. facility—just 4 years old—includes a modern 9,000 sq. ft. hospital and a 3,000 sq. ft. pet spa. We offer:
- 8 spacious exam rooms
- Double-table surgery suite and a dedicated dental suite with digital dental X-ray
- Laser therapy, ultrasound, and AI-read radiographs (results in 3 minutes)
- Plans to expand to CT and endoscopy in the future
- A 1:4 DVM-to-tech ratio with highly experienced support staff (some with 20+ years here)
While we currently serve companion animals exclusively, we have a fully equipped mobile vet box truck available for those interested in expanding to large animal services (camelids, ruminants, etc.).
Your Schedule
- General Practice: 4 days/week, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM (1-hour lunch)
- Urgent Care Shifts (Optional): Weeknights 5–8 PM | Saturday 8–2 | Sunday 2–6
- Every fourth weekend rotation
- Appointments: 30 minutes for sick visits, 15 for wellness
- Same-day urgent cases accepted via phone scheduling—no walk-ins
